Planning: properties and features

   Clients might have different financial capabilities and needs: For one these are normal costs, and for the other it is expensive and luxury. LCN is offering several solutions:

  • Elegant solutions with different functionality

    Main features of LCN-UPP:
  • All inputs and outputs might be used independently
  • Changing of threshold values with 10 commands (2 per each value)
  • 2 independent constant regulators
  • Remote control, access control, regulation of temperature by threshold values
  • Connections, control of 3 timers per each module.
  • Counting, adding, subtraction
  • Outputs have different mode of work (switching of lights, gates, shutters)
  • Memory of 100 scenes per output.
  • We can parameterize 66 addresses and 192 commands.
  • UPP is placed behind push buttons.
  • To fit with conventional push buttons we should use LCN-T8 (for 8 buttons)
  • All functions as LCN-SH+, but without P-port. To shutter and to dim we should use a filter LCN-FI1 (this is built in SH+ already inside)
     
 
   


 

 
   

Features:

  • Connected with normal cable NYM 1,5 mm2, 2,5 mm2

  • Topology of network:

  • 250 модулей может быть связан непосредственно.

  • 250 modules can be connected directly.

  • Up to 30 000 connected by segment connections.

  • Length of the one network: maximum 1 km.

  • We can connect several segments by amplifier unit : LCN-IS

  • We can connect two switch-boards by a Plastic Fiber Optic Extender, max. 80 for one section

  • The connection by Glass Core Fiber Optic Extender: LCN-LLG (range 2 km) bigger range is possible

  • In switch-board every data vein from every circuit should have a fuse

  • Plan a help switcher (VDE 0100)

  • Simple mistakes searching, because we can divide the network

  • Every module have timers, joining, blocking and unblocking of functions

    The system is more intelligent when more modules are used. LCN differentiate three types of pushing the buttons: short, long and leave. So one button might be used to dim or switching the shutters. It client choice what to control. All functions can be programmed with configuration and setting of the sensors.

Hints:

  • Infrared remote control receiver (LCN-RR), it can be used to turn on the light behind the window

  • With temperature sensor LCN-TS we can measure the temperature/regulation

  • Switcher in corridor

  • LKCN-T8 to connect between modules and switcher , but it cant be prolonged (50 cm)

  • UPP module should be placed behind the push button. In greater distances we use LCN-TU4R

  • Every button might be singly programmed

Hints:

  • LCN-TU4H should be use when we control 230V switcher, or glow-tube, the converter differentiate 3 states: short, long, leave (3 command to each push button)

  • We should use the help relay 230V (or LCN-C2GH)

  • Control of staircase is built in every module.

  • When dimming after 4/5 of time the light will slowly dim, to realize it by switching we can connect to it another relay.

  • To LCN module we can send different amount of command with various amount of turning off time. Tableau control and reversible signal is also possible.
